Former Federation Cup champions FC Ifeanyi Ubah on Monday unveiled Ladan Bosso as the club’s new coach for the incoming season.
Bosso who was the Head Coach of El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri last season was officially presented to the public at the Club House in Nnewi in the presence of the club Chairman Chukwuma Ubah. The former El-Kanemi boss now takes over from the departed Ghanaian tactician Yaw Preko.
Chairman of the club, Chukwuma Ubah in his reaction said the appointment of Coach Bosso is based on his coaching experience, achievements and leadership qualities. He charged the new coach to put in all his best for the Anambra Warriors as well as work with the members of his technical crew to lift the club to higher heights by winning trophies.
“We are delighted to have acquired the services of an experienced and seasoned football coach in the mould of Ladan Bosso who is very acquainted and familiar with Nigerian Club football circus. FC Ifeanyi Ubah is a club that places high premium on productivity and excellence. Coach Ladan Bosso in his response said he will make his experience in coaching and football management count for a club like the Anambra Warriors with a good foundation and structure.
“Am really delighted joining a club with a good structure in place. FC Ifeanyi Ubah remains the only privately owned club in the country with a solid base and foundation. It’s straight to business now for me to help the club win laurels starting from the coming season. I urge our fans to support the team as we look to move new frontiers by playing good football and winning trophies,” Bosso submitted.
